A yacht that changes the way you experience the water

Owner Stories

Andrew's story aboard a Riviera 6000 Sport Yacht Platinum.

Andrew Telford is from Central Victoria and once lived on the Gold Coast. Today, he comes back for holidays to visit his brother and enjoy time on the water. For Andrew, yacht ownership is about having the freedom to make the most of those weeks away, without spending them managing the work that comes with a boat.

Andrew Testimonial
First Impressions

More than a yacht.
A different way to spend your time.

Andrew had looked at buying his own boat, but the maintenance, upkeep and organising involved made it difficult. Living interstate meant having the right contacts and keeping everything running could become a challenge.

With Piers and the crew taking care of the cleaning, maintenance and servicing, everything is ready when he arrives. The fuel is full, the beds are made and there is nothing left to organise.

Life on board

The biggest benefit for Andrew is the time it gives back. He spends around six weeks a year enjoying the boat, rather than using that time to maintain and clean it.

There are always little things that need doing on a boat, but they are taken care of before he arrives. Instead, he can walk aboard, open a beer, relax straight away, turn the engines on and head off whenever the weather is right.

An owner's perspective

A yacht that changes the way you experience the water

Piers and the team are always there when Andrew needs them. Whether he is asking about navigation up the coast or needs something sorted, he knows he can make a call and get help.

That support means every trip starts with everything organised, giving Andrew more time to relax and enjoy the journey.

From the Gold Coast
to the open water

The Gold Coast is a familiar base for Andrew, with the marina and local services close by, along with the theme parks and everything else the area offers.

When the weather is good, the boat makes it easy to get out on the water. He has already enjoyed Tangalooma and is heading back again, while the Whitsundays remain another favourite.

Six weeks a year gives him a reason to return, explore and switch off.

Made for sharing

The best part of yachting
is who you share it with

For Andrew, the best part is having the freedom to spend his time where he wants, with everything else taken care of.

The Neptune Difference

Own the experience.
Not the work.

Traditional yacht ownership can come with a long list of responsibilities.

  • Cleaning
  • Maintenance
  • Servicing
  • Refuelling
  • Preparation
  • Storage
  • Administration

Neptune Oceanic's model is designed to take those responsibilities away from the owner's experience so that arriving at the marina can mean exactly that arriving to enjoy the yacht.

MORE TIME FOR WHAT MATTERS

For Scott, one of the biggest benefits is knowing the boat is ready when he arrives. The only things he needs to manage are bringing the food on and taking the rubbish off.

A SMARTER WAY TO OWN

For Niranga, the experience begins with the quality of the boats and the people behind them. Piers’ communication and honesty were important factors in the decision to move across, while the boats themselves made an immediate impression.
